SPEN VIEW LANE DEVELOPMENT

This area was originally named SPEN VIEW for a reason.
A natural habitat to various wildlife including roosting bats.
It's even been known to home a horse or two in its time.
The locals commonly use it for recreation purposes and dog walking.

This prime green space was historically known for its iron ore workings in the 19th century and was later mined for coal right up to the first half of the 20th century.
There are many disused mine shafts known to be on site.

Yet more plans for further development have been passed by the Council to include a new crematoria for Bradford and has been earmarked for the land beyond.
Note the original single lane road which will have to cope with this new increase in traffic.
